I am officially the most recent graduate of the Academy!!!!! It has been a most intense 3 years on all imagineable levels. Mom, Dad, Scott & Kat came to town! (learned that “cognata” means sis-in-law in italian... a key word for everyone’s survival vocab) Awesome time parading around Firenze and the surrounding towns. Cool moments: Mom & dad jitterbugging in the studio; getting on the wrong train; Alessarndro and Le Barrique; and Ristorante Bettolina... After having "web site" on my "to do" list since 2 summers ago, circled, underlined, highlighted and circled some more, www.SHANE-WOLF.com has finally come to life! For the second consecutive year, I was awarded an ARC Scholarship, this time 3rd place. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: In the history of the scholarship, I am 1 of only 2 students to ever win back to back years! A huge thanks to the ARC and their judges for helping fund my education in Florence. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Invited by the dean of DAAP, I began my professional lecturing career with my original research, “Disegnare: a rediscovery of traditional methods and their importance to the modern designer”. Over 100 students of graphic and digital design, as well as many of the college faculty listened intently. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Afferato L’IDEA group show held in the historic Saint James Cathedral in Florence. 2 of my charcoal drawings were displayed. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: As you could imagine, Florence is home to MANY art schools and academies, and this show unites works from the diverse disciplines. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
